How the procedure works

Preparation:

• Stop retinoids and exfoliating acids a few days before your session. We’ll tell you exactly when.

• Avoid tanning and sunburn before your appointment.

• Let us know about active breakouts, cold sores or any medications you’re taking.

• Come with clean skin, no makeup.

Tip: A short consultation before your first session helps us build the right plan for your skin.

How the procedure works:

• Your skin is cleansed and prepared. A topical numbing cream is applied for comfort.

• Dermapen 4 creates micro-channels at a depth set for your skin and each area.

• A professional serum is applied to support your skin during and after treatment.

Duration: about 60 minutes, including preparation

After:

• Redness and a feeling similar to a mild sunburn are normal and usually settle within 1–3 days.
• No makeup for 24 hours.
• Avoid saunas, hot tubs, swimming and intense workouts for 48 hours.
• Use gentle products and SPF daily. Pause active ingredients until we advise.
• A course is usually 3–6 sessions, 4–6 weeks apart.
